Designed for both seasoned florists and passionate beginners this immersive course blends creative exploration with eco-conscious techniques.
You’ll work exclusively with foam-free methods and sustainable materials, celebrating British-grown flowers and the beauty of working with the British growing season. This early May one day course allows you time to learn or update your skills before busy wedding season begins.
Together, we will create floral designs including hanging installations and a full entrance way to complement the design of this very pretty petal marquee.
We will use the structure of the marquee, working creatively, focussing on designs that can translate into other tented structures. This is the perfect workshop to complete before the wedding season starts – allowing you to take your learning into your client’s events through the rest of the Spring and Summer.
With expert guidance in a supportive relaxed setting, you’ll leave with new skills, seasonal inspiration, and the confidence to design with meaning and sustainability in mind.
And of course, all using beautiful British flowers and foliage!
All floral designs will be captured by a professional photographer and a portfolio shared with you following the course. All images will be yours to keep and share on your website and socials should you wish.
We will begin the day at Kirklinton Hall, with coffee & tea, talking through the designs of the day. Lunch will provided and shared in Kirklinton Hall Café.
