This year we have chosen the beautiful SilverHolme Manor on the shores of Lake Windemere to host our Ultimate Intimate Florist Hideaway. With only 8 places available this course offers the opportunity to learn within a small group. Not for the fainthearted you’ll be designing and making everyday, from bouquets and bowls to stair cases and installations. Our aim is to teach you as much as we can using only sustainable floristry methods. Come ready to learn and take away an improved new florist you!
The history of Silverholme ..
Built in 1820, Silverholme is a Grade II listed building. It has been immaculately restored and is the only carbon-neutral Georgian manor house in the country.
It is fully furnished with modern luxuries but holds true to its period character. Light and spacious reception rooms together with elegantly designed en-suite bedrooms ensure guests experience the Lake District at its very best. Silverholme sits proudly on the shore of lake Windermere.
Checking in on Monday from 3pm Silverholme will be your dream home for 3 days. Your time at Silverholme will start with a warm welcome and a tour around the house and grounds. You’ll have time to check into your room to relax before dinner is served in the beautiful wood panelled private dining room
You can choose from one of Silverholme’s individually styled rooms. All en-suite bedrooms are light and spacious, with distinctive furniture and style and views of the lake or woodland views. Many have both a walk-in shower and bath. Once your booking is received we’ll send you information on each available room for you to choose. Please note that room choice will work on a first come first serve basis.
We’ll break for lunch each day and enjoy views over lake Windermere. Each day we’ll have business huddles to discuss the business of business! Quoting and costing, the logistics of large-scale wedding work, hiring freelancers, transportation and set up along with social media and photography – the dos and don’ts! We’ll enjoy a relaxing dinner together each evening in the private dining room.
On our final day we’ll down tools at 3pm to celebrate with a tea and cake! We’ll present everyone with a Tallulah Rose certificate and give you all the opportunity for any final questions before we depart at 4pm.
