Building confidence in YOU and your business

Join me Rachel, the founder of Tallulah Rose Flower School, for 4 online sessions of intense confidence building. We’ll start by giving you the skills to feel confident in you, only then can you feel confident in your business. This confidence masterclass is made up of 5 sessions in total, four online and one in-person.

  • Session 1 – Overcoming imposter syndrome – learn practical techniques to manage it.
  • Session 2 – Presenting with confidence – the power of clear communication to clients or peers.
  • Session 3 – Defining your unique style – build confidence in your unique voice.
  • Session 4 – Building a confident business –
  • Session 5 – In Person Day – Time to come together and apply the skills you have learned in a supportive group environment.

 

I’m here to tell you a little more about the programme, what’s included, when it starts and finishes and of course your financial investment.

This is a course that may, on first read, make you feel a little uncomfortable – remember the point of this masterclass is to build more confidence, and with that will come a little initial discomfort. Try to fast forward and think how proud (and confident!) you’ll feel at the end of the course – you’ll have a superpower!
Let’s start with the overall objective. To build confidence in your creative business through four 90 minute interactive online sessions culminating in a one-day in-person session.
Now let me tell you what each session is about in more detail.
Session 1 Overcoming Imposter Syndrome
During this session we’ll define and explore why imposter sydrome is so common among creatives.
I will help you to recognise how imposter syndrome might be affecting your work and business.
I’ll lead and then encourage group sharing (but only if you’re comfortable) examples of personal self doubt. Talking together will help to normalise a very common feeling. I’ll then talk through a number of techniques to help us differentiate between fact and feeling. Positive self-talk, and reflecting on how we can better celebrate our successes.
You’ll be asked to do a little journaling homework to help bring together everything we learned in session 1.
Session 2 Presenting with Confidence 
The objective of this session is to equip you with the skills to speak confidently about your work and ideas.
In this 90 minute session i’ll share tips for presenting confidently – think posture, eye contact and tone of voice. Simple techniques, big impact.
Mock presentation – I’ll ask everyone to prepare a short pitch about their business and we’ll break off into pairs to practice pitching to a ‘pretend’ client in safe and supportive environment. If you’re quivering at the word presentation please take two intakes of breath and release slowly – I promise it will be ok, we’re in it together!
Before we finish we’ll offer constructive feedback to our pitch partner so we’re able to learn and improve.
Homework will be to prepare a longer presentation for the next session. Having had this initial session on presentation you’ll be feeling much happier, maybe even eager to go again!
Session 3 Defining your unique style
The objective of session number 3 is to help identify our creative identity enabling confidence in our unique voice.
We’ll discuss the key elements that contribute to the style of our individual businesses. I’ll ask you to pinpoint what makes your designs unique.
I’ll share examples of creatives that have a distinct style and have confidently leaned into their creative identity.
We’ll then present our prepared and offer each other supportive confidence boosting feedback.
Your homework will be to prepare a vision board representing your unique style.
Session 4 Building a confident business
Our final online session together is designed to provide strategies for confidently running a thriving creative business.
 In this session we’ll discuss how to navigate client interactions. How to negotiate prices, manage expectations with confidence and professionalism. I’ll help you understand your self worth and set prices confidently. I’ll share strategies for explaining pricing to your clients in a way that builds trust and respect.
We’ll close this session with an interactive discussion on our shared fears and how to overcome them.
Your final homework will be to prepare a reflection on how your confidence has grown throughout the course and to document your personal goals for our in-person session.
Session 5 Bringing it all together! 
We will come together in person to apply all the skills learned during our online sessions.
Morning session – Confidence in action.
We’ll each give a short final business presentation of our choosing. We’ll feedback to the group letting everyone know how we feel (great!) and what we’ve learned (heaps!)
Lunch together
Afternoon session:
We’ll talk about shared challenges, exchange advice and build connections.
And finally… we’ll share thoughts, lessons learnt and our commitment to continued business confidence!

Your investment for four 90 minute online sessions plus one in-person day session is £750 inc VAT.
Each online session will take place at 1pm every monday for 4 weeks from January 27th.
Depending on the number of attendees there will be 1 or 2 date options for the in-person course end February or early March.
There is an option to pay two instalments of £375* or the full amount of £750.
* If you chose to pay two instalments you second payment will be due January 2nd 2025.
