In our relaxed school room environment we introduce you to the world of everlasting flowers. Sustainability is at the heart of Tallulah Rose and working with dried flowers is no different. You’ll learn which flowers suit the drying process and the different ways to dry your flowers. We introduce you to alternative design foundations choosing to use natural products such as twigs, straw or vines instead of chicken wire and plastic.
In our gentle and relaxed environment we’ll begin to create designs that you can quite literally treasure forever! Each design is created individually allowing you to loose yourself in the joy of the moment. We encourage you to take as many photographs of your work as possible – we’ll be there to guide you through capturing a great image. After all these 3 days could be the start of something new and a portfolio of images will show the world how creative you are!
Here’s what you’ll be learning and creating throughout your 3 days with us…
- Sustainability of Everlasting Flowers. Which flowers are best to dry and the drying process. Availability and where to source flowers if you’re unable to grow and dry. Conditioning and care of Everlasting Flowers.
- Sustainable foundations. *The tools you need.
- Costing designs for retail should you wish to begin a business to sell.
- An introduction to marketing your designs on social media.
- Hand-tied gift wrapped bouquet.
- Table centre piece using a bowl and pin frog. You will create an individual design that will then be put together with others in your class to create a complete table. The table will be set with linens and candles to create an ideal portfolio image.
- Flowers under a glass dome – a flower globe!
- A pressed flower flat lay design captured between two pieces of glass with a frame.
- A small individual flower cloud
- A willow wreath, made by you and dressed with flowers.

Each day commences at 10.00 am and will finish at approximately 4.30pm.
